Villa and Blues are both down as 7.45pm kick-offs on Wednesday 27th August.

But surprised they're both playing at home on the same night, Baggies are on the Tuesday night.

Mind you, Blues will only get about 8000 people there probably, with half of them being Sunderland fans.
They will probably change the Blues game to a Tuesday, if not the police are asking for trouble.

Why? How is having 20,000 Villa fans and 5,000 Blosers on opposite sides of the city to each other likely to cause trouble?

We play at the same time at least once every season, and every time it happens someone predicts mayhem.

I suppose the O's may bring 3-4000 up the M1 and the Mackem's a similar number down the A1M/M1 ?
Still shouldn't be an issue should it ?

I'd be very surprised if either club bring half of that.

Sunderland will DEFINITELY bring at least that many. They always do, they say so themselves, and everyone else is shite cos they don't.
