Players should never forget who pays their wages these days. They should run up to the cameras and applaud.
When it comes to being arsed with coming all the way up to the away support and clapping them Kevin Gage was always excellent in that respect.

Not saying they don't appreciate the fans but we shouldn't kid ourselves regarding the dwindling financial influence we have.
Although I get your point, I'd have thought the majority who pay the TV companies rarely, if ever, set foot inside a football ground.
