I shouldn't have done that fist pump after the 0-0 with Southampton.
The lap of honour was a bit much too.

Rumour has it that Randy didn't come to VP while I was manager because he didn't want me stealing his woman.

I imagine revealing you had genital warts in that tell all article in Four Four Two magazine wouldn't have helped your cause even if he had showed up with her. Sometimes you really let your fame get the better of you.

And why did you try and coax Seth Johnson out of retirement?

Kendrick reporting that Joe Cole is injured and won't feature again in the tour.

Well there's a surprise. Let's get Kieron Dyer in as a replacement.

And Darren Anderton.

Pretty sad that only a few Villa players acknowledged the Fans at the end of the game, considering the distance that some had travelled some had come. Well done Richardson and Senderos for at least making it to the halfway line to give us a clap.

Disgraceful.

Come off it CL you are all in the same country. It's not as if you had to fly abroad or something! ;)

He knows why.

Looking like another astute buy.

After game comments by Lambert following the same pattern as last season.

How Villa perform against Stoke will be a better measure of our hopes for the new season rather than playing an MLS team.

Even by our standards slagging a signing because the manager might not risk him in one pre-season friendly is good going.

Since when is having an opinion and an observation about a Lambert signing "slagging off"?

I note several other posters made similar oblique comments regarding other well known injury prone players

I have seen a suggestion elsewhere that Tonev was not able to go on the US tour due to him having a criminal record?

There are so many obvious rejoinders to that about shootings....

Obviously Americans listening to Nigel Farage and declaring all eastern europeans as dodgy.

The only other people to fire off so many shots without doing any serious damage were The A Team.

There were people who had flown from the UK, there was also a couple in their 70s who had driven from Winnipeg.
The players could not be bothered to walk half a pitch length.
