it's going to really piss me off when Rooney becomes Englands all time leading scorer, the guy has disappeared on us in every tournament he's played in but he'll go down as are most productive striker of all time.

Me too. When he does pass Jimmy Greaves' record, Clive Tydlesley will burst an artery in praise and SSN will show all his goals on continuous loop for 24 hours next day, with a phone poll to choose his bestest England goal.

Wilshere deeper (so he's not trying to score) and sterling going off have made us look much better because the 2 who've come on in those positions are playing for the team rather than trying to show how great they are by shooting fish in a barrel.  Welbeck has looked better as well because he's getting the ball that bit sooner. rather than when he has 2-3 men crowding him.

Yay!

If nobody else is going to mark it, England have a third goal!
Oh. Thought you'd spotted Lallana's quiff!

At least we're playing a bit better this half so far.

Disallowed, wrongly. Rooney doing his best not to score any more is a bonus.

Enjoyable second half this. Wiltshire and Milner playing very well.

What else?
It's Liverpoo's secret weapon this season - £12.99 from Argos - replacement for Suarez!
:D

I agree, watching this game makes it clear why Wilshere plays deeper, in the more attacking role he was dire, trying to do it all on his own, move him 10 yards deeper and he actually looks for teammates.
