San Marino's glory days of being 118th in the World feel like an age ago.

Cahill bites the dust.
So near and yet so far.
Gosh.

That Selva's not the worst player I've ever seen. Only thirty-eight too.

Sneaky bid?

England have been shit so far. You really do know you aren't very good when as you approach HT you are leading San Marino thanks to the keeper tripping over at a corner.

Fair play to the keeper there. Good save. He should change his name to Thankless Taskio.

In all seriousness Rooney needs to pull his finger out today. Conceivably it might not be beyond him in the two games against SM this qualifying to become record goalscorer. If you're an England forward you should be licking your lips and trying to snag the matchball at least in a game like this.

it's going to really piss me off when Rooney becomes Englands all time leading scorer, the guy has disappeared on us in every tournament he's played in but he'll go down as are most productive striker of all time.

England have still been pretty shit, I've been particularly annoyed with Wilshere and Sterling, who both have more than a hint of 'billy big bollocks' about them tonight.
