Yeah, I have a feeling of moderate excitement and cautious optimism now. Hopefully by September the first few months work will have me convinced we're headed for the Champions League by 2019.

Agree. If it pans out better or worse (please God that can't be possible? Can it?) we'll only start to get a first idea of as we get closer to Christmas. What it definitely will be is different, and after the last few years that's got to be interesting.

It's strange. All the know-nothing Facebook believers at work were telling me all about him, while I dismissed it all because the sophisticated experts on H&V were scoffing at the 'fake' article all these fools were taken in by. What a prat I looked by 6.30.

Win the Championship by February and we can concentrate on the league cup and fa cup finals then...not getting carried away or anything.
Being serious, I told a lot of our haters and all those taking the p*ss all season (and there have been a lot, and with good reason) to be careful what you wished for when wishing for us to be relegated. I said it could be the best thing that's happened in recent years to us...price drops, new owners, sleeping giant and all that.
