What is his proper first name and why does he want to be called Tony eh!

I share your worries about people that don't use their real names, Ron Manager.

Nasty ;)

But - I feel better after the first few minutes/hours.

Selfmade is the bit that makes me feel the best. I don't care if he has only 100m in his own account - he is apparently building huge enterprises on his own. He must know what making a successful enterprise needs.

Edit :If you can make satelites, then you could make football work (especially as an ex footballer)

All Chinese youngsters have a chosen western name.
Barton, Morley, Daley or Luna?
He doesn't look old enough to know the first 3 so must be Luna!

That pic doesn't seem right, the other names on the shirts & why would they do a photo shoot of sorts with last season's relegation shirt. .
May be because that's the shirts we have just now?
With the lack of sales from the club shop on shirts and letter transfers they have had to be used up.

The guy is wearing a hair piece

So it seems we are now a tiny subsidiary of a global health and leisure corporation, who are essentially owned by the Chinese government (???).

I think the best scenario for us is the Man City model where the club is used as a vehicle to promote and extend the reach of a rich but relatively unknown commercial entity/sovereign state and thus the normal business rules won't apply I.e. Profit, for the first few years at least. Also maybe leading huge investment in brum from China, again a la Manchester and Abu Dhabi.

I just hope we're not going to be 'flipped', bought cheap, get promoted and quickly sold. I hope these guys have a long term plan, deep pockets and strong heads.

Nah - let us keep with current plan, where the owner is a fan

Edit: He is a selfmade businessman with honors - he knows what nees to be success - and is a football fan (the bit about being Villa fan meeeh)

He has got huge feet. Bet he is hard to push over.  Maybe they are borrowed shoes.

They look like steel toe caps to me. Maybe he's already started redevelopment.

As far as flipping goes, no one wanted to buy us for £150M when we were in the PL...

I think the government ownership was a different, and unsuccessful group.

One of the Recon Groups firms are going to sling some satellites up into low orbit and apparently have assets in the £100s of billions.

Which is nice.
