I propose the first H&V execution. Richard E has been outrageous today.

Maybe an all-party coalition is the answer. We could have King (to be ) William as Chairman and David ( Ex-PM) Cameron as Manager and the House Of Commons cross-party Football Committee picking the players, who would, naturally be endebted for the opportunity and play out of their skins and win the Championship by a record margin - after a re-count. ( on second vote preferences )

You need to go into a corner and consult yourself.

Nah, I'd try and find a decent lawyer who knew what they were talking about.

'Decent lawyer'.  That's one of those things like 'military intelligence' isn't it? ;)

Decent as in competent as opposed to upstanding. Otherwise yes it is an oxymoron.

A further update has just been issued:-

Let's hope this will lead to better times before Lerner and Hollis do any more damage to the club.

I would imagine Hollis must be pretty confident a sale will go through otherwise he'd be a bit foolhardy to set himself up for a fall by appearing to raise expectations.

Lawyers are losers.  Well, 50% of them are.

I'm quite impressed with Hollis to be fair and I think this is a good statement.  I also feel things are close and we'll hear something concrete at the end of the season.

Since he's been in charge we've not spent a penny in January, sacked a manager, appointed and lost two directors in farcical circumstances, and got relegated. Not all his fault by any means but I'm nor sure there's much to be impressed with.

Sorry, just joined in and read the last day's worth of posts.

I get there's a chance.
The only chance we've got is for Randy to sell.
Who is this lunatic?

Quite.

Call me sceptical, but I'll wait till I see the slightest semblance of a reason to proclaim Hollis up to the job before I start dishing out the plaudits.

As you said, on his watch we've had a disgusting, shameful January surrender, the hanging out to dry of a manager, the resignation of two extremely respected men, and the immediate downscaling of pretty much everything to do with the club as if we've just been waiting for an excuse to be as small time as we've been acting for the last several years.

Until I see him do something that makes me think he knows what he's doing, he's staying in the same bin as the other idiots for me.
