Who?

  :)
Is that genuine ITK?
Daltrey and Townshend will forever fight each other over the chairmanship. On the other hand we would have some decent entrance music.

Did someone mention 'Allo 'Allo? I know a song to the tune of that theme tune...

Lads,

Heard the buyer is on his way over in the next few weeks which is promising.

Heard he wants a big marque signing to show rest league what we are all about.

You picked the wrong forum mate

We don't do ITK on here, have you not noticed
and we certainly don't give a shit about your bit of useless information

Yes go to TBAR. It stands for They Believe Anything Really.

I think this sums up why so many people are joining TBAR including lots of people who used to post here. Arrogant, condescending put downs for anyone who has a different point of view to the self aggrandising elite. Go back to the start of this thread and many here were ridiculing the whole take-over story as bullshit. Now it's been proven correct attention seems to have been switched to TBAR'S take on the finer details of who our potential new owners will be and when it will happen. Some folks will look pretty silly if Larry Ellison or Phil Anschults is announced over the next couple of weeks. Anyway, I won't be posting here again, which is sad because there are some good people on H&V, so cheerio and all the best.

Two posts in six weeks, one of them about that lot, then you make a return to say how great they are and how nasty we are. I wonder who'll be next?

What makes that post all the more mornonic is that its in response to Levico!

I imagine people are signing up to TBAR because its a decent collation of all the Villa ITK tittle-tattle on the 'net.

It's an Internet forum mate, not the bloody Bloods and the Crips.

I don't think it's possible for people to just stop using one place and start using the other. It has to be done loudly and publicly, it seems.

Interesting point re the takeover being correct or not, though. I don't know about anyone else, but really, who cares who found out about it first - Charlie Wyett in the Mirror, as it happens - surely the most important thing is that it happens?

Nobody is going to feel stupid about anything. Well, not as stupid as whoever did that drumroll announcement and welcome to b6 thing over there, anyway.

Oh, and that ^^ is not an expression of bitterness gnawing away at my soul, or an expression of true malice, it's a joke.

It is indeed just a couple of forums. Don't take it too seriously, just do what you want to do.

A tear up should be arranged, on Rocky Lane, between the two sites. Ave it.

Every single one of you are going to look like bell ends when it's revealed that it's Noel Edmonds taking over after his failed attempts of buying the BBC. I've said this since. Eejits, fools, the lot of you.

Anyone done any 'your mom' jokes yet towards TBAR, i swear they said something about our mom.

Why oh why do people feel the need to post on a forum that they no longer want to post on a forum?

Unnecessarily harsh, don't you think?

This obsessing over TBAR is getting a bit tedious now, can't we just ignore them?

I agree, GJ

I don't see why you can post on both at the same time?

I'd like to think that I'm not doing any harm sat here and twiddling with my thumbs. I like posting on both places - and I like reading informed viewpoints from all over the place.

It is slightly tedious to have to read bickering and stamping on whatever forum it's written on.

The swallows have arrived over Solihull.

Is that a code from Allo 'Allo?

Usually accompanied by flashing knobs and a horny old grandmere.

I don't care if someone posts here, there or everywhere. I do care when someone only returns here to tell us we're all rough and nasty and he's found a new gang where everyone else is much nicer.

Of course it is possible to use both, but there does seem to be a trend emerging when people decide they're going to use TBAR and not here - or even that they prefer TBAR - that they have to tell us, loudly.

Why not just do what you want and be done with it?

Agree on that. It's a bit like having the final line in an argument - I don't know - like my missus saying as a closing line: "that sausage casserole I made last night - that wasn't sausage"

I don't care where people post, just as long as it's not nasty, argumentative or disrespectful to anyone.
