According to Pat Murphy :

"I understand no deal has been struck and that Paul Lambert is expected to fly out to the United States this week."

To collect his cards and haggle over his payoff ?,   to speak to prospective Owner, ?...or both ? .  I think we should be told  !..................Godzvilla !

You don't announce a club is for sale if it's already been sold. I think Randy out of desperation now having tried to sell privately for probably 18 months or so has now had to go public and widen the net. Desperate stuff really.

Possibly, or perhaps he just wants to be open and honest about things. He might have made mistakes but I think he has, as as far as I can see, usually acted honourably so I am leaning more to that interpretation.

presumably we're talking Robert Kraft the Canadian guy? He has been linked before by TBAR ITK's I think.

I mentioned Kraft on there few weeks back just as a guess ...I'm 100% NITK

Kraft was interested in buying into prem league but was put off by the spending , think with FPP he may be interested again as now more like the USA model of spending within means. but this is literally all just guess work.

We've been krying-out for kraft in midfield for far too long.

People are questioning why we had the statement last month and then this one today. I do wonder how much certain sites launching with ITK fanfares and then the press reporting these as facts led to last months statement?

What is the TBAR reaction to the above news release?

Akin to the scene in Parenthood when the clown turns up drunk to the party.

Link please (to the pertinent Parenthood scene, not TBAR).

Sorry but the clown doesn't turn up drunk. They send a stripper by mistake. Meanwhile, the clown gets half beaten to death in a bar across town.

I'm pretty sure the scene referred to appears in 'Uncle Buck'.

My fuzzy memory tells me that Steve Martin hired a clown for his son's party who turns up bladdered. This causes lots of hysterics and despiar from te kids, so Steve Martin dresses up as a cowboy and they have the best party ever?

It's not a clown, it's Cowboy Dan, who makes balloon animals.

Tomorrow's end of season dinner has just been cancelled, apparently.

Assuming just a PR move to prevent the players and management having to face questions in light of this morning's statement.

Only because we are spread too thinly

Maybe, if he can stump up the (sh)reddies.

(I know it is a different Kraft, and they may not even make Shreddies anymore).

I fear this could seal relegation next season ......

If no buyer there currently thats the unknown then .........

Will take min 3 months to seal a deal being realistic meaning no investment no change of manager etc etc

I think we all know where this would leave us ......

Nah, we're bullet proof. If we couldn't get relegated under McLeish and we couldn't do it last year after conceding 1 million goals or this year with our spectacular collapse, then we're never going down.

The bilge that will come up, Hull, West Brom etc will all be in the queue before us.

I would fancy a better manager to have secured us more points this season with a more progressive style of play, injuries included. Give a new man Okore at the back, N'Zogbia in midfield, Kozak up front and Benteek to return just before Christmas and we will actually be stronger, bizarrely enough.

Apparently the club have changed the schedule. They're going to be forced to watch a shit film and sit in buckets of sick for three hours instead. More in keeping with the season.
