I don't think he'll get anything like the cash offered he's expecting and won't sell yet

There you go.

38 points.

Truly pathetic.

And that's why, without a takeover, we're fucked.

I am not sure I can take another 20 defeats next season.

Worst is going into every game thinking "how many will they score" not "we could win today".

I'm not convinced he'll have found a buyer, that's my fear.

Just had a text containing the statement.  Hercules and Bella are expecting twins.

Highly unlikely we'll hear anything this evening. I'd expect some time next week, but Lerner can leave us waiting as long as he likes unfortunately. Particularly if there's nothing finalized yet.

most likely for me; I'm selling and in negotiations but nothing finalised and no change in the interim.

We won't get a statement tonight I don't think

Mid week I reckon.

But if he's trying to tie up a deal it could be longer?

Really worried we've been sold to some shitty consortium headed up by some clueless egotistic pleb such as Ray Ranson. Worrying times

In McLeish style he could be fired as early as tomorrow. By Tuesday for sure. If it goes much beyond that be very afraid.

Hopefully it's nothing to do with Randy. If he sacks him it would indicate he's not selling.

I honestly don't think the two items are related. When McLeish was fired it was made clear it was due to results not being good enough. This in my opinion will be the same.

Fear not, we're not that desperate. My worry is a Davis - Simpson ownership. I hope Randy Lerner has aimed higher or it will be Groundhog Day within 12 months. Everything I've read about them says "please, no!"

It's been bad recently under Lerner and loads of mistakes - but I still think there's plenty of downside risk with a change. Even if they've got good intent the club is in a bad way and needs a good deal of leadership.
