Your sycophancy please the Ads.

I intend to have the Trinity Road stand knocked down and rebuilt in the shape of my face, out of marble. I will watch the games from my right eye, the left being covered by patch. I am not blind or anything, but think it will give me more of a swashbuckling evil look.

I am greedy and will say both. As long as the canapés can be arranged into an angry smiley face.
We can do that with a judicious sprinkling of beetroot, pine nuts and grapes.
I'll get back to you.

On the subject of board members who know their arse from their elbow, whatever happened to that Dein fella who was at Arsenal for years?

What are the odds that whoever buys the Villa has less wealth than Lerner ?

Fairly high I would imagine. If there is a takeover, another Lerner may well be the best we could hope for. Someone who will invest a certian amount up front in the hope that it will set us on an upward spiral and will not try to change the colour of the shirts or the club name or end up rotting in a jail in Hong Kong.

Dein is or was on some FA and UEFA commissions. But what happened to Peter Kenyon?

If we just take the facts and discount any ITK rumours,

we know that Lerner is going to tell us what he's going to do at the end of the season, we definitely know that because he's told us
Lambert had also said yesterday and at other times that Randy is going to make some sort of announcement and he doesn't know what it is.

So that's not Normal is it, something must be going on for them both to say such things

Whether it's just that Randy will be looking for a new owner or that he has found one is the question, but he's not just going to say business as usual

Dunno but you'd imagine you would have to pay that kind of fella a couple of million a year in salary, the same as you would a reserve full back, I wonder why clubs are so reluctant to do so?

Excellent. I am on the look out for cronies to join my evil empire.
You will be needing one. Can I be the social secretary?

If dips are the new biscuits then I, for one, welcome our bew tzatziki overlords.

You can arrange our meetings on my volcano island. We will meet every Thursday and there will be dips.

The tools for success are there.
Are they though?  I look at the club and I see virtually nothing that allows us to compete in the Premier League, which is why we've been struggling at the bottom for a while now.

We have a disinterested owner cutting costs, a squad desperately short on quality and experience, and a manager who appears out of his depth.  I'd sooner change any one of those things, and preferably all three, before thinking about getting a DoF in.

I didn't say the tools for success were existing in the way the football club is set up at present. I meant if a new owner with a bit of nous took over, that people exist who could help the club along towards success.

I may as well drop the bomb after today though.

Is that a euphemism?
Like dropping the kids off at the pool?
