I may as well drop the bomb after today though. Looks like this takeover is on.
Anything more?

I heard him after the match and his bitterness towards the current regime was obvious. What also came over was how, for the first time ever, he sounded old. As an ambassador, yes. The 'he talks, you listen' figure we badly require. But please not in anything approaching a proper job; I fear Sir Graham, approaching 70, wouldn't be up to it.
He is coming back from having his hip done, last time a saw him a couple of weeks ago he looked dreadful.

that's a shame. I didn't realize he was approaching 70, my goodness how time flies.

The tools for success are there.
Are they though?  I look at the club and I see virtually nothing that allows us to compete in the Premier League, which is why we've been struggling at the bottom for a while now.

We have a disinterested owner cutting costs, a squad desperately short on quality and experience, and a manager who appears out of his depth.  I'd sooner change any one of those things, and preferably all three, before thinking about getting a DoF in.

I'd agree.

I don't think the tools for succcess are anything like there. The tools to do better than we have done, yes, but given how shitly we've done, that's not saying much.

My brothers absolutely convinced from what he's heard, and where he's heard it from.

Just another ruse to get Ads back in post after his recent monumental failure!

Well, this week could well smoke out the buyer if there is one. Personally, I think there is too much smoke for nothing to be happening. Hold on to your seats!

14/5 might be the day that things become clearer (according to TBAR....)

After today the club is a negotiable asset. So I bloody hope so.

Look, I am not often ITK but this has been mentioned to me by 3 people I trust today. And they know their shit.

I won't waft names as it appears we have a couple of options.

I don't normally believe such crap and my natural disposition is to pull a face about it.

But I reckon this is on.

Ok, it's true. I am buying the club so I can reinstate myself as manager.
