Talking of the Bartons it's a Saturday 3pm kick-off! Feels like ages since I've been there (no point going on a weekday as it shuts at about 10.30pm).
So does more mean I can finally charge a fee for what I write?

Been feeling a bit melancholy since, like Paul Ince, I was sacked by text earlier today. 23 years unbroken service, and I always enjoyed the feeling I was working for my beloved club in an indirect way.Started during the reign of Doctor Jo, and I've loved almost every minute, weather aside. Resisted the overtures of friends many times to fake a mugging or change moody twenty pound notes, and never ripped Dave off for a penny (like he wouldn't have noticed).Made lots of new friends, and saw old ones a lot more than I otherwise would have. VCTM, vespavillan, D.boy, john boy, peter w, Peter Withe, Peter Withe's shin, Kevin Dawson, fred m and his lovely wife Elaine, Dorset Villain, and loads more who's names I've forgotten at present or never knew. But to all my customers and those who just stopped for a chat, thanks for your time, company and money.Best of all, while selling on Trinity Road, I met the beautiful Kerri, who went on to become my wife and the mother of two of my children. Then there's another two who got a bit of work experience by becoming my colleagues on the streets of Aston. And contrary to popular belief, Dave is a great gaffer and a true friend.Somebody will have to inform WMP that I'm not so busy before the match now.Cheers everyone. It's been emotional.

It's been emotional.Through both this forum and H&V I have met some nice guys - Percy and Dave included.I will miss the banter and chats I have held with you and Dave - both at home and away.Likewise I am retiring the season ticket at the end of the season and my trips to B6 and elsewhere will be curtailed - I`ve really fallen out of love with the game, rather than the Villa.Hopefully our paths will cross in the future. Thanks to Dave for publishing some of my ramblings, rants and features about my lad - VCTM jnr - he sends his regards tooAll the very best guys !! Cheers VCTM
I'm also sad that it's going. I'm another one for the 'read it in the bath/on the crapper' camp. I'm very reluctanct to install iTunes on my PC, it's a crappy piece of bloatware that's so bad on the PC it must be deliberate on Apple's part. I downloaded the Kindle app on my Android phone but there's nothing in the search results. Is it really going to be iTunes or buy a Kindle Fire to keep reading? Is there any way to read on Android or say Google Books?
