I heard Lambert out chants for the first time today.

It's just so incredibly boring isn't it. Has any manager in our entire history had a record at home as bad as Lambert's?

Whilst I have been watching the Villa for about 40 years I know very little about the tactical intricacies of football. I just like it when football excites me and there is a lot happening. So I surprised myself in the first half against Sunderland and again today asking myself "Does Lambert know anything about how to win a football match? In fact does he know what he is doing?".
I have now convinced myself that whilst not many but every game he has won has been accidental.

12th on the surface seems... well pretty good I guess.
Big problem when most of us know the reality of what's going on.

We won't stay 12th long , take a look at the upcoming fixtures

this was meant to be the stretch where we picked up points and we haven't. I expect us to roll over and play dead when the really tough games appear on the schedule and we will fly down the table.

I remember his season as Norwich's manager in the top flight, they took the game to teams, scored a few goals, what the hell has happened ?

Perhaps his ex-wife picked the team and transfer targets

I can see us losing the next 4 PL games . Without scoring. Leicester will be buzzing after coming from 2 down at pool to get a point, then it's Liverpool arsenal and Chelsea. Probably be about 16th after that lot if not lower

If you look at that season they beat some good sides, probably ones who underestimated plucky little Norwich & took some beatings....it isn't inlike his Villa record, just that our expectations are completely different.

The lack of pressure of the job made it easy to maybe be a little more forward thinking.

Very strong at Burnley, but after the Palace away result he got away with it. Not heard them at home yet, and didn't go today as I couldn't be arsed.

There'd be more entertainment at Villa Park if ADAM Lambert was our Manager.

That's the concern.  I listened to others who, at the start of December referred to players coming back and winnable games coming up.  Well here we are at the end of that period with 6 points from 18.  We now have a clutch of games where, lets face it if we get anything out of them we will be lucky.  That'll be when we are back near the bottom, at the end of the window panicking to secure this years Simon Dawkins and it'll all be far too late to act positively.  We will then spend the next four months hoping there are three shiter teams than us.  It will be close.
