Clueless. Any manager who has a sudden shift in playing philosophy is admitting they are in crisis.

Just doesn't make any sense.

I wonder if his bosses have told him to add entertainment.

Interview on BBC is titled: 'Defeated Villa were brilliant - Lambert'

Yeah brilliant Paul, yet another game where we couldn't even score a goal, yet alone get a point. I can't wait to enjoy another 3 years of your inspirational management.

What nonsense. Criticise somebody for getting it wrong, but not for recognising it was going wrong and addressing that.

Presumably when you're driving and take the wrong turn, you carry on going to wrong way regardless? Wouldn't want your passengers to accuse you of being in crisis.

Yes I'm really glad that he's 'addressed our problems' and guided us to 1 point from three games scoring 1 goal. All achieved by playing an extra centre back and trying to keep the ball within our new back 5 for as long as possible. Forgive me for not giving Lambert credit where none is due.

I don't drive around for two years and then decide to pull out the map

Your attitude suggests you would sooner burn the road map than take a look at it.

Whilst you were lost did you think your driving was excellent?

That said his tactics and style of football over the last 3.5 years have been quite awful.
I'd say that it's very unfair to blame him for the first of the years in your timeline above.

I've watched over 100 Villa games under Lambert and what we are doing now isn't any different to things we've tried before. Sometimes we pass it, sometimes we hoof it. Usually we don't win, we lose half the time. We don't score often. At what point do we draw a line in the sand and say he's had enough chances to make something work? If we're talking driving analogies, we've been driving for 2.5 years and we've got nowhere.

It's not as if you haven't jumped into somebody else's discussion before though, is it?

No, that wasn't what I meant. Caster Troy keeps quoting me, so I assume he thinks I have been replying to him on this page, when I haven't. I was making that clear. I have no issue with anybody talking to me about anything on here.

Well even if you forgive him the first year the next 2.5 are his and his alone, and pretty dreadful it's been as well.
