Three points but god, we really are poor at times. Thankfully the Albion are even worse.

Vlaar MOTM. Delph deserves a medal for having to work with Westwood and KEA. Fantastic goal.

Did we have a shot on target second half?

Despite lavishing gift after ribbon-tied gift upon our unwashed opponents, all is right with the universe tonight.

Massive win. Huge three points. Looking nice and comfortable all of a sudden. Great platform for the rest of the season.

Much more like it. I kind of hoped for games like that this season, and they've finally delivered it. That was definitely, definitely, definitely not boring.

Phew. Get the fuck in. If this time could learn to play from the first minute like their backs are to the wall they'd win lots of games. We've won games without Benteke, and now Gabby when he's starting to look like the brilliant Gabby thought we saw at the second half of last season. The atta ck is fine, when we need to do it. If we could sort the midfield out and get us pressing early doors (thanks Ron) we'd be a very good team.

Phew !
Westwood and KEA need replacing.
2 days left to get it  sorted.
Great win after a terrible start.

I had to follow this on the phone as I was working late

Can someone briefly summarise how it went? Did we look good going forwards or was it all just mayhem? Were we lucky with penalty decisions?

We were good in places and showed good character, but Lowton and Westwood were terrible defensively and the Berahaino penalty decision was lucky.

8 pts clear. Would have taken that when Gayle hit the net on Boxing Day. Fair play. Vlaar epitomises everything you want in a captain. Benteke should have had 4.
