Oh yeah Weimann is back to his lively threatening best and I don't think he should have been subbed.

Just in case anyone does not know: Sky Sports 1 Football First-Match Choice 10.00pm. (And BBC1 MOTD 10.35pm.)

It wasn't always pretty but this was certainly a game that provided plenty of entertainment at Villa Park, and not just for the away fans. If we can have more nights like this, things will be a lot more positive. I can't see us ever doing things the easy way, but as long as it's entertaining and not like some of the fuck awful drek we've seen this season at home, then I'll take it.

Our attackers are hitting form in good time. Now just hoping for some midfield quality to come in. We're close to being a good side, it's just the midriff that lets us down.

When you look at the top 4 we've beaten two, should have beaten another but for a poor refereeing catalogue of errors, and destroyed a Liverpool team like no other team this for most of the first half last time around. A performance which wasn't given it's full due on the back of Rodgers's 'I got the formation wrong'. Yeah, but only because you thought we were there for the taking. It shows there was no forethought from them going into the game. We have looked good this season. And, unusually, it's been against the better teams. Whether their tactics were poor or not, we still had to go there and take advantage. Which we did. As well as probably any team in the league could. For that, I really don't think the team, and the midfield, were given enough credit.

I'm not sure. He was dead on his feet at 60 minutes having worked his bollocks off. I do think however that we should have brought a wide man on for him to stretch them a bit.

Didn't like the baker on sub, we aren't good enough to sit back...

I would have brought albrighton in, however we needed amother midfielder on in my opinion as thor appeared no midfield from either team.... Bench just didn't have the options!

Anyone who hasn't watched this game then you must stay up and watch - it was a great advert for football.

Phew !
Westwood and KEA need replacing.
2 days left to get it  sorted.
Great win after a terrible start.

They are definitely the weak part of the team, KEA is useless, I'd rather play Sylla. We are crying out for decent midfielders to play alongside Delph.

Great game. Credit to the Baggies their manager has them passing really well.

For us, Vlaar,Bertram,Delph,Bacuna,Weimann & Tekkers good. Lowton was terrible and Sylla poor.

Best Baggies derby I've ever had the pleasure to witness. Get in!

Weimann, Delph, Benteke, Vlaar, Bertrand all absolutely superb.

It completely nullified them though after they had brought their attacking subs on. I think Lambert got the subs spot on. Am I also the only one who likes Westwood?
