Happy birthday Doug. Some of us may moan but virtually 100% of my favourite Villa moments happened during his time as chairman. Happy days.

Can i be excused the bumps party I dont think I could manage 90. This man signed up Tommy Docherty who in turn brought me and thousands to be Villa fans. I also managed to see Pele play at Villa park during the dark days of 3 day week and power cuts. Thank you Doug.

I quite happen to like Doug , and  yes he has made mistakes , if a thread was wishing happy birthday to someone i had  no time for then I wouldn't bother posting on it .

If you wish to debate Doug good or bad then maybe I suggest you open such a thread .
