It isn't that they are getting annoyed that is laughable - I kind of understand that.

However, that Lepowski bloke going on about an appropriate building for our honours being a museum, the implication being that they were so long ago ...

Firstly, what does that make Albion's honours by comparison, then?
Secondly, he's a reporter for a local newspaper. Is that really appropriate as a thing for him to say?
Thirdly, as for Blues' honours, they'd need a library to be able to get hold of a dictionary to look it up and see what the term means.

Tattum's tweet suggests he's taken it oh so seriously. Christ even their journalist is as bitter and jealous as your regular Villa hating Nose. Tattum you truly are a sad bitter man.

Also, worth remembering that in return, Villa are running literacy courses there, so the city gets something back.

Blues currently probably couldn't afford the bus fare to get there, even if they could find someone literate at the club (which I doubt).

I can understand Lepkowski's tweet because even though it's petty at least he's making some kind of joke about it, but Tattum's is just pathetic. A true Villa hater just like every other Nose out there

Could you imagine a proper writer such as Leon Hickman or Ian Willars spending their time on such trivia? Could you imagine their editors letting them?

The Mail's glory days are firmly in the past. Tattum should concentrate on the car crash that is his club and not leave it up to some bloke on a blog to do the serious investigative journalism that he should be doing. Bitter wanker.

So are all local newspapers, to be honest. It must be difficult for them, jockeying around for a new status and role in the digital world.

I can't help thinking the blue is the wrong shade.

and the claret looks like the claret used in that awful shirt with NTL as the sponsor. Faulkner out.
That's a bit harsh.

Exactly. We have won more than Albion, Blues and Wolves combined, yet they call us arrogant. Its not our fault they're all really shit.

I always remember Tattum's summary of the Noses defeat at B6 when Milner scored the penalty. The pride he took and the achievement he labelled it all, only being beat by the one goal to nil, as if they had just won a cup.

Small time garden variety Nose. If we didn't exist, they wouldn't. That is how important we are to them.

is it? He should insist on the colours being right. Otherwise he may as well have used royal blue and white.

Its a bit of a distance from one to the other though. Besides, despite my observation, it seems the blue eighth of the city are up in arms. So, job done. No need to sack anyone.

Aston Villa, mentioned in works by DH Lawrence, Philip Larkin and Harold Pinter. Birmingham City, mentioned in The Sunday Sport and the legal pages of the South China Morning Post.

Chris, I'm one of Faulkner's supporters on many things and I think this is brilliant by him and the PR team at Villa. I'm joking massively :)

Cue some knob head Nose and a rock or two.

You just can't help yourself can you?
Sorry. I should have said " Cue some fantastic Birmingham City supporter and a book or two."
