Hadn't a clue what commentator was saying but I think he knew it was a great Villa win.

Bacuna ma tata!
Inna mattar is the word he uses most which roughly equates to it's going it's going as in going to happen. He uses a lot of ya allah ya allaha which can be directly translated to  oh my god and i do like his yaaaaaaa Alllllllllllahhhhha  after Bacuna's free kick!

The first goal was offside and we did not get the decision - but every time we made a mistake, we conceded."

I've only seen the goals on here, and just the once so far but, on that first viewing it looks to me like Dzeko was standing in an offside position directly in front of Guzan for their first goal.  Pots and kettles and all that.

Thanks for posting, I can cheer all over again!
Yep, thanks mate.  Missed the game due to visiting my Mum in hospital so really appreciate seeing the highlights.  Great to see the team celebrating the goals with such passion!

Blimey if this is what happens when I miss a home game, I'll happily remain in Villa Park exile for the rest of the year.

Flipping brilliant result that, more of the same v Spurs please.

Today I saw, Delph, Lowton, Kozak and Bennett in the car park. Villa won. Wolfie walked past me. Villa won. Ellis drove past me. Rob Bishop talked to me. Villa won. I had no wait for a 7 after the game. Villa won.

I've had worse Saturdays.

We saw Mortimer, Cowans, Morley, Lambert and Vlaar kindly signings autographs for some kids and two saddos.
Can we lose 5-0 every week please? Well, that was my forecast and there is now a huge omelette on my face, I am delighted to say.
Just before Bacuna's goal, Albrighton and Tonev were about to come on. El Ahmadi went to get a drink, probably to find out who was being subbed. What a game changing moment that goal was. Subs jackets went straight back on.

thanks for translation!
Also careful viewing, clear deflection for that pass, so not off side anyway :P

I'm sure we can all still remember the joker linesman who kept giving them penalties for no reason against us last season, so swings and roundabouts.

Aston Villa pos 9 P6 W3 D0 L3 GD+1 Pts 9 squad cost c.£40m
Man Utd pos 11 P6 W2 D1 L3 GD0 Pts 8 squad cost c.£300m

Last season, it took Villa 14 PL games and until the end of November to amass 9 points.

I hope in a few weeks or months time people aren't rewriting history claiming this was a great performance like they did after Anfield last season.

A great win, YES. But far from a good performance

Lets wallow in the 3 points for now but we've GOT to demand better on the pitch otherwise we're going nowhere
Amazing post. We beat probably the league champion's this season and definitely the most expensively assembled team in the world after being a goal behind twice  and this is the best you can come up with?

To my eyes it looks like that ball goes from City's defenders to KEA in 1-1 goal, and as far as I know, then it can't be offside.

Bacuna definitely kicked it first. Doesn't matter if deflected or not

Exactly, when bacuna released it kea was slightly offside before any deflection and the fact the ball went to him and he scored makes him active  , and could have been flagged - the fact it wasn't given is justice because its about time we got a decision in our favour .

Those of you watching on TV what was the run to the dugout after the first goal all about?

Exactly. I'll see anyone's KEA was offside and raise them a John Terry handball and Jan Vertonghen pulling down Helenius's shorts.
