Hopefully he won't risk being played by Belgium in their 2 qualifying games in October

I think the 4-6 weeks thing is what it would take for a human being to recover from a hip flexor injury.  Naturally, figuring out how long a being hitherto unknown to science will take to heal is an inexact art.

This season is turning pear-shaped with the loss of key players. I'm not convinced that Kozak can fill in for Benteke at the moment.

I thought Kozak did ok last night considering a) the service he was provided with was usually rubbish (there was one exception when he ran in the gap between the centre back and full back and was spotted by, I think, Vlaar); and b) he might as well have had the pox given the gap between him and any other Villa player.  Not one got alongside him during the 45 mins he was on, so that he could play a 1-2 or run off them.
Exactly what I thought at the time fred. No good pumping the ball up to him if he's got no-one to flick it on to, which he attempted a few times. We need to attack as a unit and set up a high line - not defend on the edge of our own box and hope a long ball finds Gabby or Weimann.

Come back soon big man!

I posted this in off topic for somebody else who is injured, who recommended that it was sent to CB as it would make him feel better immediately.

Get well soon!
Keep taking the tablets!
Keep the weight off it!
Keep it up, covered in frozen peas!

Run out of old saws so, I hope you are out and about and newly invigorated at the end of the enforced sit on the sofa with your 'Villa FA Cup Victories' DVD for company.

No idea how to get it to CB but if the message has the magical healing properties suggested so far, can we take the chance?

Hopefully some Villa fan reading this thread has the wherewithal to channel the force to where it is needed. Benteke's hip. Failing that, his social media twittering interface, as I believe the young people might say.
UTV!

I'd assume that eastie has tried to get on Twitter terms with every Villa player. And probably many of their immediate families as well.

Failing a magic poultice up your sleeve I am waiting for you to suggest an alternative.
Unless ....you have a way to get this message to CB.
In which case, go do that voodoo that you do so well, as the song goes. UTV!

@bentekechris20: thank you everyone for the support I already walking without crutch I'd be back soon #GodIsGreat

What's with the "God is great" crap?

He's religious.

When he scores, it ain't the floodlights he's pointing to

Quality.

If Christian wasn't a Christian would he be half the player he is? Maybe he can come on to H&V and burn a few non-believers with his views in Off Topic.

In that case your assumption would be very wrong .

Hope this isn't one of those injuries like Vlaar gets when he's out for 4 weeks which turns into 12 weeks .

How does a story on the OS saying he'll be back sooner that expected lead to that post?  I'm not taking the I'm just interested in the thought process that you'd have to follow because it makes no sense to me at all.

Some people enjoy being negative. I imagine they prey for tooth ache.

The above post is symptomatic of his condition, see; "would any body else take a 0-2 now post" and his "look at me! I cannot be arsed to go post!".

Haters gonna hate, event at half eight in the morning it would seem.
