This is their 50/50 season. 57 seasons in the top flight, 57 in the lower leagues.

Superb stat.  And frankly embarrassing but not for them coz they never had nothin, they always been the underdog.

On WM they had 'Statto Steve' on a nose.  Apparently Villa have spent more this summer than Brentford have in their entire 120 year history........And.

I heard a bit of them tonight. Villa fan on, CallMe talks about Pulis. Pulis interview, talks about Villa. Stripey talks about Pulis. CallMe and Reego arguing like Gavin and Ross circa 1992. And off.

Did you hear the embarrassing bits where they were asking callers to introduce Nina on the travel?  When they couldn't pronounce their surname they were both in hysterics.  How hilarious no one amongst them was able to pronounce Das Gupta.

Then Nina said the trains from Birmingham to the West Midlands were delayed.

I heard that bit as well, quality broadcasting!  "Nina who?" indeed.

Pulis did have a sly dig at us in his interview again didn't he?  I thought I was dreaming it.  Talk about desperate Jesus.

Not as embarrassing as when they played the 'song' the Stripy fan had come up with. That and having to listen to the twat talking about his cat or something.

I was hoping Si was going to come on and fully explain his RDM must go but let's play Baker in midfield new theory she/he came up with after Wednesday's game.

Si was on again last night.  Here is a summary of what she said.

Di Matteo has to go.

Gabby needs to be in the squad on the basis that Di Matteo is being two faced by giving Bacuna another chance but not Gabby.

Joey Barton would give players a kick up the behind.

Ross McCormack has done nothing this season.

Gestede has done nothing this season.

Ayew has done nothing this season.

Heard some of that.  Almost as laughable as Franks trying to put a positive spin on Albion only getting 19,000 fans at the weekend.  Apparently the thousands of empty seats will only cost them about a million quid, which is nothing to them as they are in the Premier League.

I'm starting to think that Si and that strange Albion guy who sounds like he's been on the helium are actually the same person and it's all a big piss take.

The Sandwell prat that was on last night was a diamond.

He'd gone to the time and trouble to work out the percentage occupancy against capacity of the grounds for the last home games involving Villa, Wolves and Sandwell following accusations of poor attendances at Birmingham Road. It was magically flawed but he sounded chuffed to bits having proved, in his own mind, that Sandwell am the best with the most fans. Me mon.

I find myself tuning in a bit more often now to find gold like this.

Yes, this made me chuckle as well.  I regularly try to tell myself they're not as obsessed as the noses (and in fairness they have won a few things over the years), but when I hear people like this, I have to think they're just as bad.

I had a Dingle explaining why they had a better support ratio/city population - it ended when I asked why they had won f***-all then. These people seem to live in an age when distances were measured in how far a man could walk safely in daylight (which is not far round Molineux)
