My son has interviewed a great many football players.  Alan Smith is the only one who made him take off his shoes before he could enter his house.  I leave it to your imagination the warmth of the questions aimed at the Alvechurch Reject.

apologies - Champions should have had a capital "C"
Apology not good enough.  Your in detention on Monday.  500 lines spelling Champions correctly.

I think you should have 500 lines as well - "You're (not your)" - Teacher hat on !

'Rioch' him of the famous umbrella celebration with Dalian was last caller on tonight after they put out an appeal for him to call earlier in the programme.  For once it was quite a nice touch at the end of the programme.

Listened to the last 5 minutes tonight and there was a bitter Nose on searching for reasons why Villa's attendances are so high despite relegation. The usual were spouted - "they're all from the shires turning up in their Range Rovers, they're not real Brummies unlike Small Heath fans, there's more Noses in Brum than Villa" etc etc... Jesus they never change.

Couldn't go, Tom, cuz I was on shift at the Rover/couldn't go, Tom, can't afford since the Rover closed.

I think Rover only employed Bluenoses to stop them from spending some money on going to a match.

Funny, when I worked there there were no noses in my department. Not one.

He's a sensationalist buffoon.  Rego was doing it last night (Franksy was broadcasting live from Blackpool for some reason) and he actually brings some level of sense to it.

The Villa fan Alan who rings up is an absolute embarrassment sometimes, he really does stalk some shite. As for Mark Regan, yes I agree, he's quite good.

My usual response is along the lines of 'if we accept that everyone in one of western Europes biggest cities supports you lot, why are your crowds so pitiful?'

Ah but that's because we are all middle-class and can afford the £42 as small change, we travel to away matches in golden coaches drawn by unicorns while they have to start out walking on a Tuesday to get to an away match...

I moved back 2 years ago and just going to supermarkets - Aldi/Morrisons in Castle Brom and Asda in Chelmsley as well as when I am out running on the streets I see far far more Villa shirts than Blues.
Same goes for when I do Parkruns in Cannon Hill and Brueton Park in Solihull.

To be fair having lived away for 15 years, I was surprised as these parts are supposed to hotbeds of Blues fans and territories.

Haha nice one. The thing is he actually believes the shit he talks and that they have got more fans than us in brum . The reason they took 50k to wembley was because loads of villa fans wanted a day out on the piss from pubs etc. Simple question! If they have more fans than us why have we always destroyed em on averages going back to the very start of football in this country.
