Game is live on NBC so I won't need to watch it on a sketchy Russian stream for a change!

I'm going 3-2 Villa. Early goals for Gabby, Weimann and Benteke followed by them hitting back twice in the second half and us nervously winding down the clock.

1-2 them

There will come a day when you post something positive. I'm convinced of it.

I fancied us to win this until I found out Legion was coming to the game so I've gone for a draw

Yeah, it's more about the big difference in recovery time than a case of players being tired in August. Since Liverpool's game with Stoke finished last Saturday we have played twice , both away against Champions League knock-out standard teams, so we're invariably going to be more leggy.
Having said that, I'm convinced that our high energy levels were a big reason in beating Arsenal and I doubt there's many fitter teams in the league right now so hopefully Wed night won't have taken too much out of them.
Think it will be a draw.

Ah I see. Because I don't live in Birmingham and can't go to games I'm not as good a fan as you right? So your continual misery and clarity despite a clear upturn is because you go to games and can see the truth and I don't. Got it.

It's easier to be positive than jump on a plane and fly half way round the world to watch a game of football.

Do you think it will be sold out? It'd be nice if it was, I love it when Villa Park is full.
The last seat on the website sold last night, just as was looking for two seats. Have to wait until Newcastle now.

I'm not really sure about this one, I was convinced we'd turn over Arsenal and get beaten at Chelsea. I was surprised at the quality of our play in both games but there has been an emphasis, quite naturally, on counter attack and that won't be the case tomorrow.

Liverpool are no great shakes but neither are they terrible, with the onus on the home side it could get a bit frustrating but given the air of positivity at the moment I think the crowd will be patient and that may well carry us over the line.

I'm still going for a draw though. 2-2

Just a wild stab in the dark but I would guess your user name being "Toronto Villa" and the fact that you live in Toronto might be a pretty good hint as to why there is a damn good reason why you don't get to every match! If there is such a thing as a "proper fan" then the amount you post on here is good enough evidence for me that you are one!

2-1 Villa. I always feel like we have goals in us these days but I am never as confident that we have a clean sheet in us. Gabby and Delph for us, Coutinho for them.

Are a few seats available on Viagogo, you could try that?

Fuck me, is that shit still going? I can't resist a peak though, like poking a particularly vicious mouth ulcer with your tongue.
