Not too bothered to be honest...at Villa he was a big fish in a small pond, now he's a tiny, rich fish trapped in a tide pool next to a beautiful massive ocean full of blue whales...He's morally bankrupt too, the wanker.

hes still a fucking big cnut - what a fucking bast@@rd

He'll be at Everton within three years.  Maybe even Sunderland.

This from the official Villa site, short isn't it for the captain?

Aston Villa can confirm that Fabian Delph has exercised the release clause in his contract and will join Manchester City.

We'd like to wish him success in his future career.

success

FUCK THAT

I can almost hear a slow clap at the end of that club mini-statement.

Anyway, enough ranting and swearing about this. Onto something that really matters... Like, how many glasses of wine do I need to lovingly ply my missus with until she gives in tonight?

One thing is for sure. It will be easier to replace Delph, hopefully with someone who is at least potentially better, than it will be to replace Benteke.

I feel tonight isn't the best time to call for reason. I said last week that the arguments over him moving were logically sound, but this goes beyond being logical. What it boils down to is a man saying one thing while believing and ultimately doing another. You wouldn't take it from your friends, family, colleagues, leaders...you have every right to be fucked off. Delph deserves to be called out for being a lying ****** and while you might try and rationalise it, why? Give in to the anger towards him. What are we going for here, a Nobel Peace Prize?

There was something i wanted to say about Delph for a long time, But i knew on here Delph had many fans who would back him and see him through Claret and Blue eyes, Now i can finally say it.
I never rated him, He doesn't score enough goals and very rarely make assists and i just didn't understand why Villa fans thought he was that great, I mean if he was a Townsend,Taylor or even Boateng i would understand but Delph is no where near as good as them.
To me Villa was his best shot of making a name for himself, maybe a midtable team but a top 6 side he is not, They are out of his league, If i was a Man city fan i be well pissed of because other teams fighting for the prem next season have top players already let alone adding some more now.
That's his England spot gone now, Man City will play him start of the season and see he will not bring nothing special to the team apart from a good engine, To win the Prem you have to be more special than Delph, Look at Chelsea with Matic and Fabregas, I'm sorry Delph you be on the bench before you know it. He will be the weakest link at Man City and you fucked your career up.
Now Sherwood go out and buy a better replacement.

he looks good in a shite team

A cocksucker of the highest order. Scum.
This.

I think that sums him up nicely though it's a tad on the generous side

It doesn't make any difference either way, and he's dead to me now anyway, but I can't help thinking that the media reaction to his u-turn last week might have prompted this. Its almost as if you are not allowed to be independently minded - if a 'bigger' club comes in for you, then you are obliged to up sticks and leave. He was almost unanimously declared as being a 'bottler' for not going. Another reason to hate modern football.

Can we try something along the lines of that Scottish manager. However this would mean never discussing-mentioning ...........ever again.

He's dead to me!

Delph may be a c*unt, but after "that" statement on the OS, we have become the joke of the English PL. The amateurs night show!
