I think it would have come out earlier and there'd have been a mad scramble alreadyBut I don't get why people are saying such a clause means villa would be stupid. If the choice was this or let him leave on a free we'd have been stupid not to do do it
It's the Mirror so I reckon BS , even if true at £10m quite a few clubs would be in sparking a bidding war I'd assume.
