Perfect start for us, it's so important to get confidence early and our players will be flying now.

I love Lambert, Luna and lamp.
Energy, Inventiveness and togetherness.
Balls won by the back line were collected by the defensive midfielders and distributed intelligently, with a view to creating on the break.
Become more ruthless at the back and top eight is within our reach.

I wonder if a certain someone still thinks Delph is the worst Villa player he has ever seen. Delph is going to massive for us this season and he'll score about half a dozen as well I reckon.

Amazing...had a tenner on 2-2, but I'll take 3-1 instead!

Pair of wankers.

Fucking brilliant couldn't watch it today but listened on radio and it was horrible. Delighted with the win. Pleased for Benteke because I've bet on him as top scorer

Still thought we might screw it up after last season as we do look dodgy at times at the back.

Not convinced with Vlaar, terrible mistake for the first goal and I think his position is under more of a threat than Baker or Clark.

Delph MOTM, still has the tendency to take a touch too many and was unlucky not to score.

Its going to be another exciting season either way.

What a great result after our normal soft goal start. Watched it live on hols in Malaysia. I was here for a month in November/December last year and we never lost. Here until after the Chelsea game so there is hope yet. Win that one and I might just have to apply for residency.
Can't wait to get back to see them at villa park Saturday.

Its an Arsenal defeat. Not a Villa win.

Really impressive performance. We seem to have learnt some valuable lessons from last season. Vlaar's mistake for their goal apart, we defended really well as a team - constantly pressing/pressurising them and hitting them on the counter when we could. There were times where we slowed it down, other times where we knew how to professionally kill time. This team is really growing together well. As the commentator on my feed said, we look so fit and we look like we've graduated. Exciting times ahead.
