I don't care about the man's politics but he was claiming Villa fan status before today. So like everyone else let Cameron enjoy himself. In fact I hope Risso and Nash are enjoying today and hopefully how we are evolving too.

Opening day of the season, away at the Emirates. You are a defender and your team are leading 2-1 with 5 minutes to go.

Do you
A) Hold a strict defensive line to protect what you have?
B) Play for Aston Villa so you find yourself 1 on 1 with their keeper?

I love this Villa side.

There was a very subtle but clever pass made by Luna near the end.  We were under pressure at 2-1 and rather than boot it, he looked up and played a cunning pass between three players.

long may his confidence continue.

The guy seems full of personality and a potential Villa legend but being completely honest I saw worrying defensive frailties. In an attacking team like ours we need a back four who can principally defend. Nothing will ruin this day for me but let's be pragmatic here a bit. Well at least tomorrow anyway. Gunners 1 - Villa 3 !!!!!

If you watch the replay, I think he was the only one with any legs left.....the rest of the team were walking and could barely get out of the box!

He's the budget Jordi Alba. It's amazing how many times Alba is through on goal for Barca and Spain, and Luna, who was signed to get forward more and give us more options from left back, did the same today.

Legend already!

Certainly has made the sort of start most can only dream of - and he looked comfortable against  Walcott for a lot of the game - delighted with him.

Can I have an update?

1.  what's the best Tony Moon song?
2.  (and probably) which is the one the crowd have adopted?

Now Tony can you tell us 'bout this one
That time when you were through one on one
Now Tony when you scored at the Arsenal, baby
We had so much fun
Would you believe, his name is Tony Moon, Tony Moon
Would you believe, he plays in Claret and Blue, Claret and Blue
