New kit and commercials - (now with added poll)

The away kit is one of my favourite kits for a long time. Is it bcuz I iz a yoot? Is there a general split with the old'uns preferring the traditional look and yoot more modern? Personally I prefer it when they try something bat shit crazy, even if it fails I admire the attempt. Too many boring samey kits.

I am quite old, and I really like the away kit as well.

There does seem to be a real positive response to the new kits from the majority of people, so I don't think it's an age thing. There are only a few people, like me and Risso for example, that out and out hate both of them. And Gok Wan, I ain't.

Ha well I'm no Gok Wan either, but neither is Gok Wan. He talks shite.

I like the away shirt too and I'm only 50 yr old and only wear a club shirt(either new or the retro 71 shirt)to the game and as said earlier you won't see me wearing it in Tesco's....

I was in Chelmsley on Saturday and I must agree.The only Scum shirts I saw were on the beggars.

I saw a fella in a Small Heath t- shirt queuing outside the Villa club shop waiting in line to have a new Villa shirt printed with a name and number - the wait time was 50 minutes and he stood there all that time - I think he may have been turned away as the club had run out of the letters, T, W, and A.

Having had a close up look today I like the basic design (both home and away), but it think there is too much fussy detailing on it. I also think that the away one might cause the refs issues against the likes of west ham and any teams in red and white.

Why not?
I'm sure it would have been taken into account during design and choosing.
If you look at our two kits together there's no reason for us not to use the away shirt vs WHU and teams in red. There's an awful lot of white and the 'Blackcurrent' is nothing like claret or red.
