Not even with the other teams relatively easier games?

Wigan have to play us and some North London outfit. Easy?

... no team in the bottom half is more comfident or more together than us right now.

Wigan might be.

This is Wigan. They'd beat barcelona if their survival depended on it.

They have won one league game since December.

Lets see if they beat Swansea.

Who? Wigan?

They've beaten West Brom, Norwich, Newcastle, and Reading in the League since December.

As for the match...

I am sure a lot has been said already, but I have never been so emotionally drained watching this Villa team. We came right back second half and should have scored two more once we went one up.

But the winner seemed to take an age to go in and we went mental, again. But it was Guzan's flap in the 92nd minute which made almost vomit up my own guts.

We were poor first half and a bit scratchy in the second at times, but we looked a threat; Norwich never did and we deserved to win.

(Should say Wigan have now won two since December)

Just watching Wigan on MOTD - their defence is as bad as ours, if it comes to it we'll at least draw against them. The bags were on the beach after the first goal. I fancy Norwich to go as they dont have a goal in them.

Don't know what the hell Hughton is on, but to claim they were unlucky to lose and the should have won is just bizarre. They barely had a shot on target all game.

Not even with the other teams relatively easier games?

What relatively easier games? Newcastle's are similar to ours, a team in the bottom three in QPR and a team going for the champions league in Arsenal, Sunderland have some strugglers to play, including Southmapton and then Spurs away, Norwich have The Baggies and then Man City, Wigan have to play Arsenal too.

The fixtures are pretty evenly matched.

If we go into the final round of games with more than one team between us and Wigan then yes, things look better even if we lose on Saturday. But you don't want it to be a shoot-out between us and Wigan.
You know what Pete?

Fuck Wigan.

We're Villa, they're Wigan.

We'll stay up, they might too.  Not worried about them even if we still need some kind of result against them.
