Sam Cam's hubby remains optimistic on Aston Villa. Hope that eases the nerves.

I wouldn't read too much into that. He was optimistic about Margaret Thatcher at the start of the month.

I feel nervous. Very nervous. Not sure i can stomach watching this. Might have to follow it on the bbc.

I really hope it doesn't become some sort of rampant carnival atmosphere and a thrashing. I can just picture RVP scoring after about 6 minutes.

Kinda is a 433, isn't it?

Back four, Delph-Westy with N'Zo just infront and then a front three with Benteke playing centre forward.
I think more 4231 because N'Zogbia isn't really a CM as he rarely drops deep.

So much for ignoring the game. I haven't left this place for an hour! Listening to Run DMC isn't helping calm me down either.

I hope you have defrosted the admirals pie pws ;)

Nope, no pie tonight.
Good man.  I don't believe in superstitions for Monday night games.

Off to watch at The New Rose. Villa to win 2-0 and Benteke to score. I'll be a millionaire if Gabby scores as well!

What is the plastic gloryhunter's team tonight?

MAN UTD: De Gea, Evans, Evra, Rafael, Jones, Valencia, Rooney, Giggs, Carrick, Van Persie, Kagawa. Subs: Ferdinand, Lindegaard, Hernandez, Nani, Welbeck, Cleverley, Buttner.

Is Buttner the kid from South Park they gave coffee to?

Can't accuse Lambert of ever going for a 0-0 in a game can we!

I imagine if McWank was still manager we'd be going 2-9-1-1 and pray the ref didn't know how to play odd men out in that line up

Guzan, Given, Schoolbus, Vlaar, Lowton, Bennett, Hutton, Lichaj, 18 wheeler transport truck, Baker, Clark, Delph, Heskey

What a load of tosh. Heskey would be on the wing so it would be a 2-9-2-0.

I very much doubt that. I had him playing just behind the wingers might have been slightly in front of Delph and not being asked to go anywhere near the final third of the pitch. You sir are talking tosh if you think he'd be playing in any attacking capacity.

Our club is the greatest club ever to grace this planet, I love the claret and blue with every fibre of my being, it has been the only constant throughout my life and come rain or shine I will always be proud to wear my colours.

I realise that's got fuck all to do with tonight's match, but I felt like sharing it anyway.
