Given they have been rubbish for many years per premier league, that record is atrocious. Should have won that game under Big Ron when Staunton scored a screamer. Was it Bryan Small who refused to just allowing Cantona a free header?

Can't accuse Lambert of ever going for a 0-0 in a game can we!

Attacking line up - i would maybe have played sylla ahead of nzogbia but its certainly a line up that can cause utd problems.

I love Paul Lambert. 4 attackers in the starting line-up at Old Trafford.

At least Gabby is back. We really missed him (and the 3 points) against Fulham.

I'd have rathered we had gone for 4-3-3 with either Sylla or Bannan in for N'Zogbia. I truely believe that we could have dominated midfield against these.

Should have put Bent in in place of Baker.

It's brave but i remember what happened at the bridge ,  we certainly can't afford to take a real hiding tonight - makes for an intriguing game without doubt.

I imagine if McWank was still manager we'd be going 2-9-1-1 and pray the ref didn't know how to play odd men out in that line up

Guzan, Given, Schoolbus, Vlaar, Lowton, Bennett, Hutton, Lichaj, 18 wheeler transport truck, Baker, Clark, Delph, Heskey

I think Lambert is just matching the Plastics 4-4-2 formation.

Kinda is a 433, isn't it?

Back four, Delph-Westy with N'Zo just infront and then a front three with Benteke playing centre forward.

That's probably the best we could have gone with. Shame they're very good and will probably beat us, but we're giving it a decent go with our best side out there.
