I love Paul Lambert. 4 attackers in the starting line-up at Old Trafford.
Should have put Bent in in place of Baker.

I'd have had him in goal as a rushing goalie.

The glory-hunting, arrogan arse burgers are already selling "Champions 20" shirts and scarves. I hope Lamberghini tells our players that.

Bloody hell we're attacking them, well fair play I just hope we don't have another Chelsea on our hands. Come on you Villa boys.

I guess with our team,  attack is the best way of defence - utd  will not be used to teams playing so open at old Trafford.

Can't accuse Lambert of ever going for a 0-0 in a game can we!

I imagine if McWank was still manager we'd be going 2-9-1-1 and pray the ref didn't know how to play odd men out in that line up

Guzan, Given, Schoolbus, Vlaar, Lowton, Bennett, Hutton, Lichaj, 18 wheeler transport truck, Baker, Clark, Delph, Heskey

What a load of tosh. Heskey would be on the wing so it would be a 2-9-2-0.

I feel sick, just pacing up and down the living room. Football is unbelievably emotional.

Don't give Mr Gung-ho Lambert ideas!

Our attackers should fancy their chances against a pairing of Jones/Evans though.

So much for ignoring the game. I haven't left this place for an hour! Listening to Run DMC isn't helping calm me down either.

Well, those shirts and scarves will be right by the end of the season. Hopefully not the end of the night.

Sam Cam's hubby remains optimistic on Aston Villa. Hope that eases the nerves.

Sometimes occasions like this that are set up as a party / celebration some club comes along to spoil the party. If there is any justice in the world, for all the times they've done us over, we deserve to give these fuckers a slap in the face.

Fair play to Lambert for giving it a go, just don't concede too early or score too early. An 89th minute goal followed by a 2nd breakaway in the 90th minute would do nicely.

With that attack we could quite easy go 2.0 up in the second half.
