I was there the last time we beat them there. I have seen us win at wembley more often! Don't see a win this time though :-(

Have we won anywhere less often than old trafford in the modern era? ....obviously of the top tier teams.

I think we have won 3 times there since World War 11, '54,83,09!!!. We also lost a F,A Cup semi, and a F.A Cup q/f there too. I think we have a very bad record at ST James Park as well IIRC. Im going to the game on Monday more in hope, than expectation, but maybe we can snatch a point we could be absolutely vital.

1-1, Westwood.

2-2

Good enough to score against them, but not good enough to beat them

I don't want any drama now. A straight 3-0 will do.

Taking my son to this one. I have prepared him with the 'take the defeat like a man' speech.
Hope for a point but fear we will lose 4-1.  :-[

Wrote this one off a long time ago...think I'll go out for the afternoon and check the result once the 90 minutes is over rather than listen to us getting battered...or even worse, giving it a real good go then losing in the last few minutes (again).

I have a sneaky feeling we will get a draw. I don't know why.

Head says a 3-0 defeat
Heart says a 3-2 defeat
Drugs say 1-1

Ha! You know it's bad when even on a skinful of drugs you still don't believe a win is possible. Love it!

fuck it. We are going there to win. 2-1 us Benteke brace and another good kicking handed out to Smalling. And to make the world even again, we'll come from behind and win it in the final minutes. We'll all go fucking mental.
