Directly after the Stoke match I had a quick look at our upcoming fixtures: Fulham at home and Man Utd away.  My immediate gut reaction was: "Fulham, that could be tough, in an after the Lord Mayor's show kind of way..." My feeling about the Man Utd game was much more positive.  I think it has the potential to be high scoring and I reckon we can win.  All the pressure is on the home side, they will not want to throw away the league once more whilst nobody expects us to do anything.  If we play with freedom and attack with pace in the way we know we can, we can get all the points.  Man Utd 2  Aston Villa 4.

Three things are vital from this game;

Keep the score tight. If we are going to lose, lose by 1 goal. Ive been think our GD would not matter but looking the other day i think there are maybe 2-3 teams  maybe 3-4 goals better than us. This could come back into play with a couple of favourable results.

No red cards. Is there an amnesty window just passed where yellow cards have been wiped?

No injuries. I wouldnt risk anyone for this. A benteke, Guzan or Vlaar injury now could send us down.

Man United were poor against West Ham they look like a team just cruising over the line now , we can take advantage of this especially if Man City lose.Spurs will beat them if they play like they did against Wigan.

If Man City lose, then Utd can wrap up the title against us.  So if that does happen, they'll be well up for putting it to bed, meaning we'd lose.

Man United are a good side or they wouldn't be top of the league, but they are not the force they were. I'd say there's probably a 70% chance they'll win. We just need to hope they're not at their game and we're at the top of ours. Half of the problem is overcoming our mental block of conceding great positions to win games against them.

We will lose , we have to its the law, they have not won the last 2 and "normal order" will have to be resumed for the sake of the universe as if we even get a draw stars will fall from the sky and the tides will reverse ...

Them to win 4-1

3-1
Agbonlahor 43"
Young 90+5"
Van Persie 90+8"
Kagawa Tuesday

They will get three minutes and Fergie will go spare. But for us, holding on to our precious 2-1 lead, it will be the longest three minutes of the season.

Also, Fergie time elapses as soon as a winning goal is scored.

Young's out for the season so I would hope even our defence will keep him quiet for ninety (five) minutes

Every bone in my body would love us to beat them at their stupid Disneyland stadium, among their arrogant gloryhunting brethren.

Every bone in my body would love to see Benteke punch a hole in a back of the net at the Stretford End and take out a couple of the Brummie reds who drape their stupid flag from the Stretford End next to the silly ‘One love’ nonsense.

Every bone in my body would love us to score in stoppage time and wreck their relentless charge to another title.

Every bone in my body would love to see crying Man Utd fans, as our team celebrates in the centre circle.

Every bone in my body would love to see Lambert sprinting across the pitch as Siralex shuffles off to the tunnel, whilst Chinese tourists take photos of him.

Every bone in my body would love to see Gary Neville looking on aghast from the commentary position as Tayls or Stan give him the w**k*r sign.

Every bone in my body would love to see the camera focus on the fat fu** Eamomn Holmes being consoled by Mick Hucknall.

Every bone in my body would love to see pictures of coaches labeled Bedford, Yeovil or Maidstone rolling out of the car park as Villa fans wave and blow kisses at the sad gloryhunting plonkers facing hours of travel home.

 ……..

Not going to happen though is it!

Maybe next season though.
