Thinking about Chelsea and how tired they may or may not be, there can't have been many teams who have ever had busier seasons.

The Community Shield, a full Premier League season, the final of the World Club Cup, the European Super Cup, the semi-final of the FA Cup, the semi-final of the League Cup, two semi-final matches and possibly a final in the Europa League and six Champions League games before they were dumped into the Europa League.

Apart from starting the Europa League from scratch instead of the Champions League, that's basically as long a season as it's possible to have isn't it?

How many games did we play in 09/10? Not as much as Chelsea obviously but that must have been our busiest season for a long time.

Quite. And given they have a fair few internationals who played at Euro 2012 that's about four-six weeks free of competitive football between Aug 2011 - May '13.

Chelsea look pretty tired to me mentally other than Man United in the FA Cup they been pretty poor recently ,very fortunate against Sunderland and in general performed poorly in the league against the lower placed teams.

Hopefully Lampard doesn't play that bugger always scores against us

Hopefully they beat spurs and secure their top 4 slot that night and then play the Europa final the following midweek -

Yep. 15th, I believe

It'll largely depend on how they're looking for staying in the top 4, but I can see Rafa playing a weakened side against us if they do get there.
