Cool. Let's hope they play Spurs on Weds May 8th, beat them and secure top 4 and then put a weak team against us as they'll be saving their first 11 for the europa final the following Wednesday.

I don't expect to beat Chelsea but don't think a point is out of the question.

Just need Allback fired-up for this and we'll be grand.

Yes, that's just how football works. It's why we're all millionaires because results are so easy to predict.

Weakened how? Because they had no Sidwell, a player hardly any of us rated when he played for us?

As far as I could see Fulham weren't weakened. They had their only player playing up front and in midfield for them. I had no idea who the other 9 outfield players were, I am not sure Jol does either.

Fulham have a far more settled squad than us, a fair bit of experience and players who are decent in possession. They got a lucky goal but we had two let-offs before that and we actually took the lead during their best spell.

Should we go down there's at least half a dozen games I'll look back and think "that's where we fucked-up" and I don't think this will be one of them.

Saturday lunchtime works for me. Chelsea have put out weakened sides and gifted to points to every other bugger down the bottom so why not us?

I agree, thought Fulham passed it well in central midfield and had control of the second half even after we scored hence Lambert's substitutions.

I actually think the Liverpool game was more of a missed opportunity, should've got at least a point from that considering their two games since have been 0-0s against West Ham and Reading. Guess that shows how bad defensively we really are.

Again, there are plenty of relegation threads to comment on without this one as well.
