Will look forward to them parading the trophy at the Fulham game?
Can give them a deserved round of applause.

Well done the Villa lads....Champions of Europe !!!!  Eurosport: Crap...We don't even see them get the trophy !!!   We must have a lap of honour at the Fulham game !!
You can bet your life if chavski had won Eurosport would have continued coverage to present trophy.
Disgraceful coverage and the commentary couldn't have been worse if you'd stuck Paul Tait and Robbie Savage together. I'm sure if they approach Withey, Tony Morley and co they'll have something special sorted out for the Fulham game.

This is a massive scalp for our youth system and thoroughly deserved they seem like a really tight knit group, lets hope they can kick on from here and we get a few coming through next season if not a couple for the last few games of this one wouldn't hurt to give them a place on the bench once we get safe.

I thought we had the for best players on the pitch by the end of the game: Robinson, carruthers, grealish, donacien.

Suspect most of the others won't make it, but these four looked very good, especially in the second half. Carruthers was miles better than that Ake who's played for the Chelsea first team. Long long way to got for all of them in development terms

Anyone remember when we paraded the Peace Cup round VP when we played Fiorentina? Barry Bannan was carrying it and he looked like he couldn't given less of a shit.

Is it me or was there something very wrong with Arsenal having a complete team of foreign youngsters for their semi final?

Well done lads, 3-4 of that team plus current crop in first team potentially means investment in youth may pay off

From the BBC...

"Huge congratulations to Aston Villa's Under-19's after they were named champions of Europe this evening by beating Chelsea 2-0 in the NextGen Series final - Graham Burke scoring both goals.
Villa are the first English side to win the competition, which was set up in 2011 to provide players the chance to test themselves against the best youngsters from the big clubs across Europe.
Things might not be going particularly well for the senior team at the moment but the youth team's success has got to bode well for the future."

Will the NextGen Series continue next year? Or will this 'UEFA Youth League' that starts next season replace it?
