I still don't understand why the final games of such a prestigious competition were playing on a ploughed field inside Stalag Luft III

It's a European Trophy.

When they show off the trophy at the Fulham game, the very least the club should do for the kids is get Withe and/or Mortimer to present it.

I enjoyed watching that, good stuff! Congratulations to the lads, too, deserved the win, I'd say.

Some promising players too. The standouts for me were Donacien, Carruthers (who looks like he should be close to first team action soon, to me) and Robinson.

Well done, the young 'uns!

Fabulous stuff, this calls for a Stella Artois Cidre (pear or apple, I have yet to decide) to accompany my bath and book. I could never ever tire of beating that bunch of loathsome tossers.

As I said before, this underpins our reputation as best academy in the country. Dare I say this lot are the next golden generation? Let's hope they fair better than the last lauded crop of youth. Brilliant performance though. Character and bottle in abundence. Kept a clean sheet and saw out a lead too. The first team should take note.

April 1st used to be called April Fool's Day. From now on, the World will refer to it by another name.

Victory In Como Day.

Fantastic performance, hopefully we won't have to wait nearly 21 years before being crowned Champions of Europe again!

EPIC.

Callum Robinson looks a great prospect, great movement, excellent close control and always looking for the players coming on to the ball, if we can get his finishing sorted he looks like he can make it.

I really like Grealish as well, lovely feet and again, he's very "clever" for his age.

Donacien again was solid and seems to be the organiser in defense, I think he'll make it as well.

Carruthers will make it, I'm sure of it, looks a really good midfielder already.

Watkins did very well, we've got a good record of keepers called Brad.

Oh and Carruthers should be involved in the run-in now. Could be the wild-card that can make something happen when we really need it. Why Lambert doesn't rate him, I'll never know.
