What would be brilliant - and I am not saying we should have broken ranks and done it - would be for clubs to think long term with this massive tv deal, and start to use this new sea of money to massively, massively reduce ticket prices, rather than - as will no doubt happen - spunking it all on players wages or giving it to agents.Year on year the telly money goes up and up, and year on year, supporters get stuck with high ticket prices (and ours might be lower than most, but prices across the industry are obscene), and games getting shunted to stupid times for Sky.Surely it's not asking too much to wonder when it will be the supporters who start to see the benefits of this massive tv money?Strikes me that supporters are the only involved group in the game who have not done very well out of the increased cash.
There's a whole lot of moaning over the use of one word here which is a bit petty. It's just been pointed out that a ticket to watch Hereford v Tamworth -ie semi-pro football, is more than the cost per match of a £325 season ticket for Premier League football. It really is a ridiculous thing to moan about.

Perhaps.Unless the fa can wrestle control back, and thereupon instigate something akin to the German model of club ownership, we shall be milked until we simply can't afford it, no matter how hard we scrimp and save. And then we won't go any more. And nobody will neither notice nor care.
Someone in the T/O must of had a bang on the head if they it is wise to pull it after one season. We could be playing Championship football next season for fucks sake. The club needs all the fans it can get.

Nobody has said they aren't going to renew because the season ticket price has gone up from £295.
