Does andyaston, the OP of the thread, even live in H&V anymore? Arguably his absence will continue to hurt us more than Grealish's.

I think African car reversing would make a brilliant event for the Olympics.

You should write to the IOC and claim that. Would have to be politically correct and opened up to all nations mind!

which part of Africa was the driver from?
Not sure about the driver, but he got the vehicle off a bloke from that island off the eastern coast. Apparently it runs on hydrogen... Mad! A gas car!

I am very sorry.

Africa made too.  Except the Horn.  They had to get that from Ethiopia.

Not from the Horn of Africa, then?

I'd really like a H&V 'Africa Car Reverser' tshirt.

I'm still waiting for this. Moderators would make a fortune.

I would buy one. I'm not joking.

Yes I'd be in.
It's the single greatest thread title of all time.
As long as the guy himself isn't delivering them.

ACR had some magnificent t-shirt designs, there has to be one that can be adapted.

In the hope that ACR’s traditional healing methods have further boosted the good ship Aston Villa, I thought he was worth honouring with some thread greatest hits.

I’m hoping little AV’s reprisal of the super Jack song* when I mentioned his name in relation to the @CJGolson tweet is an auspicious sign.

I actually asked her if Jack was leaving or staying about a week ago. Her response was “leaving”. She saw my face and then quickly & firmly said “staying”. Perhaps she was more accurate than I knew.

*captured on video, possibly being foisted onto Golden Muppets if they don’t behave.

I’m thinking Clash on the front, Musical Youth’s hacked 7” label on the back and the blue plack premier league patch style on the sleeve? (apologies to his Excellency the very Revd of course re: his first attempt, school report was much improved on #2)

Guys, I've just read that Man City are offering us £1,500 for the African Car Reverser.

If we can't hold on to him, then what's the fucking point?
