The owner is happy to see the club get relegated just so that he can sell a player without the supporters being so upset. This being the same owner who made the most unpopular managerial appointment of all time less than two years ago, such is his reluctance to go against public opinion. I despair.

I wouldn't put anything past that man. Incompetent and irresponsible and out of his depth. I despair.

You also make up conspiracy theories that danlanza wouldn't believe.

I have t made it up, Dave. I got my information from elsewhere. You carry on "waiting for things to get better". I'm sure they will, eventually.

Of course you did. I'll carry on living on a planet where the sky's blue and Elvis is dead.

Yes, the world where everything's fine and dandy down the Villa.

Spirals suggests we started high...poor use of language. I try, try and see what the manager is trying to do, try and see that there are some positives. You are sitting on the lawn eating worms. The defence is awful, but going forward id much better. Give someone time rather than just discarding it as all crap.

Someone spouting you conspiracy theories can be ignored pretty much due to early release from the asylum.

You ignore my so called conspiracy theories and i'll ignore your laughable over-confidence.

Trying to see some positives is over-confidence?

Who has said that? Feel free to quote anyone who has said that over the past few months.

"Fine and dandy" you would struggle to find...however there is a "beer and sandwiches" element on this site that suppresses any criticism of RL. You know who you are, btw.

As far as I can tell most fall into the same camp as me,give him stick for the shite and stupid, and praise for the good and sensible. They just don't spend every day saying the same things time and time and time and time again. And again. And once more for luck.

Laughable over confidence. I think we could well go on goal difference. I have not however, got the bunting out to celebrate relegation and begun to revel in the misery like you have.

Celebrate relegation? Get a grip. I'm as much a Villa fan as anyone on here, and I'll be fuckin mortified if we went down. At least I'm realistic though. I was saying we were in for a relegation scrap as far back as last July when many other on here were in the midst of celebrating yet another marvelous "young and hungry" signing from the lower leagues.
Give it a rest with the 'celebration' crap.

FairPlay. Just because you disagree with the clique on this site it doesn't mean you should be accused of being "anti Villa." Isn't there something about that in the site rules..?

So in our final game would we prefer to:

A)play for the draw (are above them), or;

B)have to take the game to Wigan (I.e. goal difference or less point before play)?

Try and see a positive from time to time then. I have not said you are anti Villa, you just seem to revel in misery that you attempt to bring to almost every thread you post on, and indeed are now boasting you were predicting the doom last year and are revelling in being right, or you would not be boasting about being so!

Would needing a draw or a win be better for us in our final game? I.e. going they and trying to park the bus (which we can't do) or having to go at them for a goal?

Next question.
