Quite frankly Darren Bent should have been given the second half against Man U  as we had already lost.

1. To give Benteke a rest for the crucial games ahead
2. To get Benty up to speed should he be needed off the bench in these crucial games.

Lerner/Lambert don't want him anywhere near the team because they're desperate to get him off the wage bill. In their twisted world it's more important to get him off the wage bill next season than it is to stay in the Premier League.

That makes no sense whatsoever. If he was banging in the goals it would help us flog him and we'd get a better price. Time to go back to conspiracy theory school.

Yeah and it would make it even more difficult for them to flog him in the summer. Imagine the uproar from the fans if they tried to flog him after a successful goal scoring season.
By the way I'm not the only one to think like this. Ask Matt Kendrick at the Mail and find out who he's been speaking to.

Seriously, what a load of cobblers.

Of course it is. Keep taking those happy tablets, ozzjim.

Instead of your suicide pills? Happily.

It's called realism. You should try it one day.

Not from you. Realism has some balance to it. You spout doom and try and paint the worst at all times for what appears to be pleasure. Trying to package misguided conspiracy theories as realism is frankly bull shit.

The owner is happy to see the club get relegated just so that he can sell a player without the supporters being so upset. This being the same owner who made the most unpopular managerial appointment of all time less than two years ago, such is his reluctance to go against public opinion. I despair.

I wouldn't put anything past that man. Incompetent and irresponsible and out of his depth. I despair.

You also make up conspiracy theories that danlanza wouldn't believe.

You spout ridiculous optimism while the club spirals towards the drop yet you've got the nerve to talk about bullshit? What a nerve.

I have t made it up, Dave. I got my information from elsewhere. You carry on "waiting for things to get better". I'm sure they will, eventually.

Spirals suggests we started high...poor use of language. I try, try and see what the manager is trying to do, try and see that there are some positives. You are sitting on the lawn eating worms. The defence is awful, but going forward id much better. Give someone time rather than just discarding it as all crap.

Someone spouting you conspiracy theories can be ignored pretty much due to early release from the asylum.

Sunderland - Draw
Norwich - Win
Chelsea - Draw
Wigan - fuck knows

Would that see us going into the last game needing a win in all probability?

If those results come off, and I agree they probably will, then I would think a draw would be all that was needed at Wigan.

Doubt it, would require Wigan to win 3 of their next 4 and or 2 wins and two draws to be above us.

I'd take that tbh and can see the results panning out like that.

Although I'd expect us to be more likely to get something against Wigan up there than at our place, I find the idea of going into the last game of the season needing anything to stay up utterly, utterly terrifying.

I would take a Sunderland win and a chelski lose  . extra point and drags Sunderland right back in it . But I do think we will get something against chelski

True but be honest you'd have taken still being in with a chance on the last day the night we lose to Newcastle and looked dead and buried for instance.
