Trust me, they got the message tonight.
"You're not fit to own the Villa" (repeat)
I like that - but he wont be there!
If its sung loud enough, he'll hear it in crystal clear digital surround sound whilst he watches the game in the comfort of his armchair in America.
deep down everyones knows what it could be like on tues, if things are going wrong.
But the most annoying thing is, and im sure most agree is the pure lack of passion and effort these pricks are putting in.
As fans we can at least appreciate effort if your not good enough, but to be shit and stroll around OUR pitch like they do is a disgrace. And tbh there arn't many of our 1st team that this exempts, even gabby looks like he's had enough.
As much as i dont want to turn on lambert, he is the one that needs to motivate them, and make them tick.
(just look at QPR with Redknapp, same squad as previous managers, yet if you watch them he has them working their bollocks off; and its paying off. He's dropped the mercenaries and playing some professionals that may not be as good but at least show some desire/passion)
As much as i love this club, i think we may be down
UTV!
The crowd needs to turn on Randy. Randy needs to fuck off.
This. Houllier and TSM were symptoms, so is Lambert. The one common denominator is Randy. Treat the disease, i.e show Randy he can do one.
I hope not because that is not good for our kids on the pitch. Crowd needs to turn up not turn.
They are not kids. They are mostly in their early to mid 20s, i.e the age at which you know you have about eight to nine years left at the top level.
Sterling at Liverpool, Michael Owen when he burst onto the scene in 1997, Gabby in 2006. That's a kid. Bannan, Clark, Albrighton, Delph are not kids. They are simply not good enough.
Out of everyone, i blame the players least. They're not good enough as a unit but they've had almost a season of terrible coaching and uncertainty regarding relief. In fact, i'm surprised they're not doing worse. You can berate them for being naive or even incomptent, but only one or two of them deserve abuse for not putting in effort.
Trust me, they got the message tonight.
Loud and clear. I would love to have heard what they had to say about it.

I mean the players, the manager and the coaching staff.

I never heard any chanting (there were loads of fans complaining though) regards Lerner. Quite a few fans joined the Millwall chant of 'you're getting sacked in the morning' and there was booing at the end and shouts of 'f**k off'.
I don't think we should get all over Lerner yet.
In any organization, the CEO (Faulkner) is the person who should shield the Shareholder (Lerner) from the harsh realities of business at the working level, and should be able to manage the Shareholder to get the right investment at the right time.
In addition, the CEO should set and control the operational strategy for the enterprise.
That"s what CEO's do. It doesn't matter what the business model is. That's the job of a CEO.
Faulkner is not managing Lerner. This is his job. He is CLEARLY not doing it.
Faulkner is not controlling any strategy..... we have no strategy.
To appoint Houllier, with a strong strategic reasoning (which I accepted at the time but then quickly felt was bullsh*t)
To then appoint McTw*t in complete contradiction of above strategy....
To then appoint Lambert (with no strategy, but we were all too grateful to notice)
We need a strong CEO who can manage the shareholder and strategic direction of the club.
Faulkner needs to be the target. Lerner still has money.

Well said Irish - though none of the three done themselves any good depsite having many media friends
"Where's all our money gone?"
The board are the ones that need to get grief, not the manager and players.
