Fuck Wembley. I don't want to see us laid bare once again for the world to laugh. And then hear the manager mumble about "going again" or some other such nonsense after spending most of the game staring into space from the bench while his team collapse like a house of cards on the pitch.

Fuck that for a game of soldiers.

On the plus side, if we did get through and we carried on playing like headless chickens, it would be highly unlikely Lambert would still be in charge by then. Every cloud......

Looking at the number of available seats on the seat selector thing on the OS, if you fancy going to the second leg but require the presence of no other human being to intrude on your grief within a 20 seat radius, you'll be fine.

There's not a prayer that match will sell out.
Ive got a ticket for the 2nd leg, but i dont think ive got the heart to go,,,plus like last nite i would have to watch it sober, after last nights experience that thought is a terrifying prospect!

I have just booked 3 tickets for upper Holte K4 for the 2nd leg. We need to to have a full house and get the place rocking to do our bit and encourage the players. It's very do-able and a half full stadium will look like we have given up. Aston Villa never do it the easy way as we are all well aware.

I'm in the lower north, we need everyone there to be vocal and get the place absolutely rocking

We've clawed back a 2 goal deficit before and I fully expect we will do the same against these in the 2nd leg.

I think we'll win the second leg comfortably. I mean we cannot be so ill prepared and piss poor against this level of opponent again (can we?). For Bradford to do it again would be asking a lot. Fair play to them though, they pulled our pants down to reveal our adolescent pubeless twig and berries for the world to laugh at.

If we don't make our wembley humbling, there'll be hell to pay.

I would like someone from the club to actually come out and either say or do something positive, if for nothing else but to give the supporters back some self belief. The club is in self induced meltdown!

Tricky one this.....would love to repeat the Tranmere game which was one of the best VP nights ever......but then I'd expect to play Chelsea in the final which instantly reminds me of the 2000 cup final which was a horrible day.  Not sure I could stand another show piece humiliation......... or come to think of it another humiliation of any sort this season after the ones we have already suffered.

Full house at Villa Park, crowd rocking, early goal from the Claret & Blue.  Yep, I'm keeping the faith.

Anyone who's concerned about being 'humiliated' at Wembley by Chelsea needs to get their head straight, it will be no where near as bad as going out to fucking fourth division Bradford

Or maybe a repeat of the 1994 League Cup Final?  Nobody expected us to win that one either.

I most certainly did. And back then we had the not inconsiderable advantage of some great players and - on his day - a great manager. Bring back Big Ron.

Tranmere '94. Go 2-0 early, extra time, woodwork saves us in the last minute and hopefully  Guzan to save 3 pens. Believe!

If the away goals count, which i am sure they do,  a 2-0 win at home will see us to wembley, no need for Guzan penalty saves.
