207-8
Onions Ct Fletcher b Mullaney 8
Off for bad light with 4 overs left.

A point to note: Jack Birkenshaw pitch inspector is at Durham but he will not make a decision tonight he will remain in Chester Le Street for tomorrows play. I imagine the partnership of 121 between Mustard & Collingwood may have some bearing on his decision.

Wouldnt worry if i was in the Durham camp- as you say the partnership seems to suggest no problems - Durham will wrap up he title tomorrow, leaving sky the rights to show the final game when all issues will have been settled .

For some reason, The Bears' attack reminds me of Villa's defence.

At least we've finally got a bowling bonus point, edging closer to safety.

Notts have a lead with 4 wkts left 15 ahead...Notts 78 & 193-6 Durham 256
Surrey 319-3 83.2 overs - Gonna piss 5 batting points at this rate.
Yorks 210 Middx 98-5
If Durham don't win tonight could be in brown stuff if the weather up there is the same as down here tomorrow.

No worries weather wise - the championship is theirs - this is day 2 , showers forecast tomorrow but a lovely day on Friday though I'm sure it will be over long before then.

At the moment notts are effectively 24-8

57-8 now - unsure how many overs left in the day but i assume they can claim the extra 30 minutes but if they do that before they have Notts all out they will then lose 10 minutes for changeover.....they will have to go some to win tonight - David Hussey going well 46 off 55. I hope it pisses down all day tomorrow....be a bag of nerves Friday - make it interesting. If weather is as nice as Eastie says not a real problem i suppose.
As i write 9th wkt gone - 57-9!!!!

What a waste of a post!!!!

Durham apparently haven't claimed the extra half hour....got 1 over tonight from which they scored 7.
62 required tomorrow.
Thought that the Durham marketing department wanted to sell tickets for tomorrow!!!!

I hope it pisses down for 2 days then money grabbing arseholes....if it's true!!!!

Surrey 398-5 with Patel bowling last over of the day....so score 2 and declare over night.......scored a single off 1st ball 399-5 and a single off 2nd - 400 up (Max batting points) Stumps 341 runs in day with hour lost.

Durham  end on 7-0 chasing 62 more for the title - could be showers  tomorrow but with 2 days to go the weather will not stop them .

Inspection at 1.15pm ay Edgbaston, could do without playing. A draw will do fine and Surrey are 400/5.
