Derby have beaten Somerset by 2 wickets
244-8
Chanderpaul 74 and Groenewald 6
That gives Derby 3 wins (same as Bears) and 116 points      2 Games left - 1 v Bears at home
Somerset             2 wins                                  115 points      2 Games left
Surrey                  1 win                                    100 points      3 games left   1 v Bears away

So all in Bears own hands really - if todays game ends in a draw Bears on 147 points and Notts 123 points - if Bears lose....well we don't wanna go there!

They have now had tea and still pitch covered. No chance now i'm just waiting for the official statement....even if it stops raining then light will be an issue.
Notts are gonna need a minimum 30 overs and there's no way that's happening.

That's it Twitter - Match abandoned 8 points for us 10 Notts.

No Bears game this week but some important games involving relegation battle plus the Championship.
During the course of the day i will up-date scores particularly in Derby (4-0) v Durham and Somerset v Surrey (2-0 2.1 overs) as Bears aren't mathematically safe.

Following it on Twitter, being a Yorkshire and Villa supporter I always expect the worst, so naturally after dropping a catch I expect this pair to put on a hundred!

Surrey 116-6 (59.3)
Ansari Ct Kieswetter b Trego 8
Batty in...to sound of polite booing.....Trego grinning like the proverbial Cheshire. I think Batty a smile on his face also.

For those unaware this pair had a confrontation at the Oval resulting in a 3 match ban for Batty.
