MVG beats Littler 8-6 in the final. Some high quality darts in the last few legs.

Another nine-darter for Littler as he wins the Belgian Open. https://twitter.com/OfficialPDC/status/1766942303980036405

How does the point system work in this Pro League thingy?

Littler has 2 night wins, 13 matches won and has 23 pts
Humphries has a 3-13 and only 22 pts
Aspinall             1-11 and 18 pts
Van Gerwen        3-10 and 17pts

They obviously pick up pts elsewhere, but where?

'Bullseyes and Beer: When Darts Hit Britain' on BBC last week. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0287mq6

Nothing earth-shattering in it, but a pleasant trip down memory lane.

Considering the standard of players now it's highly impressive that Luke Humphries has hoovered these up in the last 12 months

World Grand Prix
Grand Slam of Darts
Players Championship Finals
PDC World Darts Championship
World Cup of Darts

Shane McGuirk wins the WDF World Championship beating Paul Lim, even if it is very much the poundland Darts championship.

The fact that a bloke who is most famous for making a nine-darter some time shortly before colour television was invented can make the final doesn't reflect well on the organisation. The winner doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. I wish they would just merge.

I hadn't even realised that the WDF existed, I remember the BDO which I presume became the WDF?

I think the BDO was part of the WDF, and organised its own World Championship, which was just regarded as "the" World Championship before PDC broke off. BDO went bust in 2020 and the WDF now organises its own World Championship. So, technically it's a different tournament to the old BDO one, but of a similarly low standard. Actually, probably even worse as so many players have defected to PDC.

Damon Heta has thrown a nine darter, the bad news is, he lost his match.
