Deserved winner, he's been outstanding recently.

Agreed. Probably the best result as well for Littler at such a young age.

That was my thought too. Obviously the young lad will disappointed that he lost, but it might for the best in the long-term.

Missing that D2 to go 5-2 up he just wilted after that. Shame but as others have said probably for the best long term.

I was impressed with the dignity that both young men showed at the end.

Yes, I thought that too.  Very commendable.

Littler is in the Premier League. Hopefully it won't be too much too soon.

I'm really pleased Luke Humphries won, he's had a bad time.

I think he had to be in really as he seems to have captured the imagination of people who have even only a passing interest in sport.   I went to a party night and lots of people there were talking about him.  One even said that his Mum has no interest in darts at all, but watched his games during the World Championship.

That's the thing. He's in it for the publicity and money it will generate. And on the back of one tournament. It's good for the PDC because all they care about is money, I wonder if it's good for him at his age.

I touched on that, probably, a couple of pages back.
That he couldn’t have had much of a social life with kids his own age given he must have been playing in pubs and clubs

Wise words from MVG post-match, asking that the PDC, fans and TV give the kid a chance to grow and develop in his own time.
